Hi Everyone,

I hope you are feeling ok today.

I am experiencing a hot sensation in my buttocks!!! Yeah yeah a pain in the ass!! It comes and goes and quite annoying also when I sit down it feels like i am sat on something! Anyone else had this weird feeling? Please say yes....

We are also going through hell at the min. Closing our business, no money, RA, fibro, cold, chesty cough AND then my son had an incident last night in the bad weather! He was on his motorbike and felt it skidding, so got off and was on the pavement when a car skidded on ice and hit his bike and the bike slammed into him! He is in a&e at the moment and I am too ill to be with him, don't get me wrong he is 18 and been to a&e more times than some of their staff!!! But i have always been with him!

I really want to run away but not got the energy!

Sorry guys but i am really down today.

Louise x

Hi Louise

So sorry that you are having such a rough time of it at the moment, I really hope things start to pick up for you soon.
I hope your son is ok and will soon be home.
As far as the pain in the buttocks, I have just got over some virus which made me feel really rough and my husband
laughed at me because I kept saying my buttocks were painful, so maybe it is part and parcel of the virus.
Do hope you are feeling better soon.

Best Wishes

Sue

Hello Louise. I hope your son is back home now and has got off lightly. I don't think I've ever had a red hot pain in the buttocks like you describe. However RA can do some weird things to all areas of our body so it could well be the RA. Your situation sounds quite stressful at the moment so i wouldn't be surprised if this is part of a flare up. I hope someone else can help or has had the same thing so you don't feel so alone. Sending hugs to you. I have a battle with feeling down in the dumps far too often so I know how horrible it is. I do hope you feel better soon. Let us know how you're doing when you get the chance and I'd be interested in hearing what the buttock pain was due to if you find out. xxx

Thanks for your comments.

My son is fine, thank goodness. Nothing broken, just bruised.

As for my behind... Maybe its got too big and is developing a mind of its own!!!

I will let you know.

Hi Louise - what a relief that your son is OK, but so sorry that you've got such a lot of other stuff going on. In my experience stress defintely brings out RA in all its diversity, so hopefully it'll settle down soon for you. Very best wishes - Sylvia xx

ps Hi Dorothy - I saw les mis last weekend - wonderful!! But very long too!

Oh Louise I'm sorry you're down
But I'm afraid I did laugh at hot buttocks....lol
Keep singing 'ring o fire' and grinning...
My husband would think his luck was inWub

It's that HIP joint. That's what's hurting
I've had some help with that, the guided injection with ultrasound prob the most effective
But I have tried acupuncture for it
With hydrotherapy (not the pipe up the 'ring o fire' I might add but the swimming pool version)Blink

Which also gave some relief

Hope you can get some rest this weekend
